Bespoke handmade paper ear studs and brooches. All items are made from hand painted gilded and embossed papers using many layers of colour. Additions of gilding and embossing create new layers that are distressed by rubbing and sanding to expose the underlying layers.

These papers are cut into fragments and arranged into abstract compositions that are mounted on a laminated paper backing that is both lightweight and very durable.

All the jewellery is painted on the back and edges then several layers of clear lacquer are applied to protect from water and grease.

The ear studs are mounted on surgical steel hypoallergenic posts.
